Power Cut

The voltage had bolted with a parting watt
‘DANGER!’ was the sign : don’t tamper with an ampere
The current wasn’t current, it was absent
A shock had gone amok, no longer was in stock
What on earth had happened to the earth?
The capacitor was incapacitated
The transistor was in transit to Venus
The batteries were in court on a charge
The power points, they’d become software
Every other week, no alternator
The resistors had been arrested for resisting arrest
The fuses weren’t fused, were very confused
The conductor was waving a stick at the Proms
The generator was out there, playing some game
The inductor was inducted into the Hall of Fame
