Age before Beauty

Myra was an actress
She used to have to undress
All she had to bare
And she was well aware

You needed to be smart
Take off to get the part
It’s true she had appeal
Getting older, she got real

It was quite a climb
To leave behind the grime
Enticing but a snare
Was she beyond repair?

Before it was too late
She didn’t hesitate
She used her common-sense
And got off the fence
